An old illustration of Seeker and Song from the SEEKER'S QUEST webcomic, back when it was a fanzine serial. I did this with Crafttint paper, which isn't as easy to get these days. This is a special paper with tones built into it; you 'activated' the tones by applying a chemical was to it. Comes out pretty cool. But the paper was expensive, and nowadays you can do it all on computer anyway.

You wouldn't have happened to illustrate Malari's wish would you? i loved that comic!
Chuck Melville
Yes, indeed. Wrote AND illustrated it.
I'm doing new Felicia stories for Furrlough (from Radio Comicx) these days, and doing FELICIA: THE SORCERESS' APPRENTICE and SEEKER'S QUEST as webcomics. You can find them listed on the Bat's Belfry, under 'weekly'.

YES! thank you I own Malari's wish, and I just love the story! Im so glad i've met you here! I'll be sure to look up the rest, i had hoped there was more, from the way the story went in Malari's Wish it made me think there was quite a bit more to the story of Felicia, thank you!

Oh, there's quite a bit to her story. I had done, several years ago, a trio of short comic stories about her with Bill Schmickle doing some lovely art, for MU Press' ZU comic (which I was editing at the time). And I've also self-published some prose stories about her as well. She's such a fun character to write.
I'm glad to hear that you've read and enjoyed the graphic novel. I don't often get much feedback about it; it's sometimes like 'playing to the crickets', as we say around here.

Sonuva...
I just realized -- well, discovered, actually -- that you're the one drawing the DEVIA webcomic!
Very lovely work, especially the attention to costuming! I've only recently discovered it and have been following it from that point, but need to go back and read through the entire series. I like what I've seen thus far, and have been enjoying it.

Comic artists complimenting comic artists, yes, you praise is most generous, I understand "playing to crickets" I found your graphic novel some years ago in a tumbledown bookstore, They had a nice collection of indy comics and lesser known titles, I picked it up because it had a Fox on it and as you can tell from my artwork, im rather partial to Foxes. That and furry comics are rather hard to come by in print.
As For Devia i have quite a few people helping me with historical Accuracy, but all the same I thank you for your enjoyment with it!
